SocialStars 2nd Annual Best of 2017 Awards!

January kicked off the 2nd Annual Best of SocialStars Awards! We have a full line up this year of 101 SocialStars Nominees competing in 14 different categories. This year we are proud to present the "All New" #SocialStars Global Award!

All month long we will be sharing videos of all the Nominees in each of the separate categories!

The voting will take place on our website! Go to our homepage and cast your vote now. Voting began January 3rd and runs till the 31st. The awards winners will be announced February 7th.

Below are all the Nominees and Categories they are competing in.

We have an action packed line up for this years awards with New Originals from Artists and Covers from your favorite artists. Some of the best artists in the Country, Pop and Rock music genres currently. Artists like Nicole Simpson "Red" from the Voice UK, Alyssa Baker from Lost and Found Studios on Netflix to Country Stars like Maggie Baugh, Alayna, Megan Golden, Dallas Remington and many more. Pop Stars Andie Case, Madilyn Bailey, Ali Brustofski and many more of your favorite YouTube artists.

We are also handing out many more individual awards all month long! The first of which is the Lifetime SocialStars Member Award for the original artists that began and helped mold the design of what we do to support Indie Artists! They helped encourage me to keep spreading the love of music, they supported me throughout the entire journey and have become great friends and members of our family of artists. They have all grown in their careers and I have had the opportunity to see them grow into amazing artists, singers, songwriters and all around entertainers.

The first Lifetime Member Award went to my very first artist that I became friends with. She was my inspiration to begin writing, she was a big supporter to me in every thing I done and encouraged me to be the best that I could be. The one and only Karianne Jean has earned this award and will always be the model of greatness that we hope we can strive to be like.

The second Lifetime Member Award was given to Facing West Music. Caitlin and Sidney have been one of my longest friends also. They encouraged me to build on my graphic design skills and advertising. I have seen them grow into amazing young artists with a style all their own. They will always be like true family to me. I am grateful to have met two of the brightest young superstars and proud to give them this award.

The third Lifetime Member Award was given to Maggie Baugh. Maggie is another amazing young artist that has a great future ahead of herself in the music industry. She began making a name for herself in Southern Florida and after being signed by a label on her last EP Catch Me she has toured and played all over the Nashville area. I met Maggie a few years ago now and have seen her perform live which was one of the first SocialStars Members I met in person and seen perform live. Maggie won many awards in our 1st Annual Awards and has been nominated in 2017 in 4 categories also Including Best Overall Artist of 2017. She is the reigning winner of this award in 2016! Can she do it again this year?

All new this year also is the SocialStars Humanitarian of the Year Award. This award is given to artists that perform and entertain for different charities. The recipient of the award this year is very deserving of this award. She does all of her videos for different causes, raises awareness for subjects like Human Trafficking, Child Abuse, Foster Care, Anti-bullying, Addiction and so much more. She is a role model and an outstanding spokesperson and we are proud to award Nadia Khristean this prestigious award and want to thank her for all she does.

Also new for this years awards is the Congeniality Award! Given to the recipient that has became a great friend over the past year, she is always smiling, interacting with her fans and always has something nice to say. From the time I first met her she was open, friendly and excited to be part of the SocialStars family. She was a winner in our fan voted monthly contest and is also best friends with a long time member of the family. We are proud to present Amanda Cooksey with this award and want to thank her for the support, friendship and fun that she has brought to SocialStars over the past year. Congratualations Amanda!

The next individual award is the SocialStars Facebook Live Performer of the Year Award! I watch and participate in many facebook live shows throughout the year and the recipient of this award always puts on a great live show for her fans. She plays requested songs, she interacts with the fans and she always has fun entertaining us all throughout every live event. This was a hard choice because there are so many great artists that put on great shows. We are proud to present this award to Jessica McVey and want to thank her for hours of great entertainment.

This is just part one of the SocialStars 2nd Annual Best of 2017 Awards on our website. We will be handing out more individual awards throughout the entire month and voting for artists will continue till the 31st of January. We can't wait to share with you the winners in each category and be on the lookout for a new video also. The voting turnout has been amazing already and we want to encourage all the artists to get involved with raising awareness to their fans and help support each of the artists nominated.
